Friday Repost: Tests vs Dates

I have never regretted pushing off a date to study for a test. Want to know why? Cuz I’m still single.

What bugged me most was that these guys would take two weeks to approve me, but I was expected to date him within 48 hours to prevent him from getting “busy” with someone else instead. Can’t you make phone calls for two weeks while I go study for my finals?

  1. ” I have never regretted pushing off a date to study for a test. Want to know why? Cuz I’m still single. ”

Huh? How does that make any sense? If anything it should be the other way around. “I never regretted pushing of a date cause now im happily married and evidently it made no difference yada yada yada…”
As for your statement, how do you know that you didnt pass up on a great guy that you would’ve clicked with for the sake of studying for a test? Being single is all the more reason to regret studying for the test instead of missing out on aforementioned guy. Or am i missing something?

  2. She said she pushed off the dates, not that she turned them up. Obviously, none of the guys turned out to be worth sacrificing a test score for.

  3. yes but she also said pushing them off caused the guys to move on to the next girl. “… I was expected to date him within 48 hours to prevent him from getting “busy” with someone else instead.” Thus pushing off a date with a guy would in affect be saying no to that guy.
