It’s Getting Warm: Let’s Get Cold Stuff

Who’s up for ice cream?* I’m thinking we should do Brooklyn this time, partially because last time almost nobody from Manhattan showed up there.

*To qualify you must be 39 and under, unmarried and never having been, unengaged and not planning it either. You must be female, Jewish, religious, a member of the BadforShidduchim club, and an enjoyer of ice cream.

  1. LL – but my dates cram in before hers. I’ll be dating between May 5th and May 16th. 😦

  2. So why don’t you just swap guys?
She dates whomever is suggested during your finals, and you date all her suggestions.
    It’s the perfect solution.
This way you both cash in on the final “when it rains it pours” phenomenon without messing up your grades.
The guys in question need not know…

  3. She’s too young for me. Her guys are probably 21. I can’t handle 21-year-olds. It was a good idea, though. 🙂

  4. I’m kind of surprised that guys aren’t included in this, you would think guys would be invited to increase chances of meeting a good one. (even married couples should be allowed if they’re fans of the blog)

This would probably be a more welcomed venue then “single events” simply because it has a simple minded purpose of meeting followers and contributors of the blog, with no direct intentions of meeting boys for dating… think of it as more of a bonus. With no shadchans involved it’s just a regular social outing with similarly like interest people. Any acquaintanceships and networking done, will just be that… and should any relationships develop down the road… well Bad4Shidduchim can always claim responsibility. 🙂

I’m just saying, in a frum society where girls and boys aren’t socialized normally, this get-together seems like a pretty kosher environment.

  5. I’ve been a long-time reader of this blog and I fit all of the criteria. If it’s not too late, I’d like to join. I’m 24 years old, I’m getting my masters in math, and I like ice cream. If you need any more information, feel free to message me privately.
