Friday Repost: My Age is Relatives

Not too long ago I posted about a “young/old” seesaw experience, wherein I was called old maid and young whippersnapper within a few days by people with wildly different perspectives. So I was amused to dig up this old post about a very similar experience from when I was a mere 21.

  1. This is my life…When I tell people my age, some people are like “That’s so young! Why the rush?” and then other people think I should at least have one date a month. So…which one is it? It seems like even though you are still “young,” you better be serious about dating, and dreaming of the perfect guy. Once I told someone I don’t want to get married yet………look of shock of their face! The idea that I would rather still get some education under by belt and would actually be happy to not have been married at 21, seems like such a strange concept to some people.
**By the way Bad4 I started reading your blog a couple months ago and am just now starting to post replies. I want to thank you for your blog-it’s like a form of therapy šŸ™‚

(meant be married NOT have been married – I am not married)

  3. Just take it, grab it, whenever it comes bc you dont know for sure if your mazel will change and if they’ll keep coming… just saying… and just make your criteria to find someone who is willing to support you in your studies… hey, it’s always nice to come home to a hot meal someone else prepared bc they understand you are working hard at your books.
