Is no place sacred? I mean, is there any place on earth that you will not be approached by someone asking “what are you looking for?”

I have a 1 minute speech that I’ve said now so many times its down to a science. You would of thought that by now with that perfected speech that I’ve said to so many people who “really want to keep me in mind,” I would have lines of suggestions.
My theory: People just ask what are you looking for in the moment because it sounds like the right thing to do, but that doesn’t actually mean that they will still have you in mind in another 10 minutes. Or maybe that’s just my dating cynic talking.
How about just avoiding answering there by saying, “It’s so nice of you to ask; can I have your number so I can call you when we both have more time?” (Or, “Can I have your email address so I can email you my information? Then you’ll have it for future reference.”
Just because someone is tactless, doesn’t mean they can’t help you!
