Here’s a reminder to participate in a pretty important civil activity, particularly now, when it’s so tight a race.

  2. Alas, between McCain and Romney, I just don’t care. My hopes were for Thompson – Kill the Terrorists, Secure the Borders, Club the Hippies. Is that too much to ask for?

  6. Is an unmarried woman voting likely to negatively affect her shidduch chancces? Or is it just assumed she votes the way her father tells her?

    Any girl who will “vote the way her father tells her,” probably won’t vote at all. SHe won’t find it important. If it affected the sales in Saks–well, now we’re talking.
    I did my research. Didn’t ask my parents whom they’d vote for. I took advice from my brother, but read candidate websites as well, to see which I thought would be good.
