I know this is a light-hearted post, but it’s still SO TRUE. Part of our extended family has 3 kids in their mid-late 20s who are in great schools/successful professionals, are serious about volunteering/chesed (volunteering with disabled kids, fundraising for tzedaka, shlichut, etc.), have great relationships with their parents and each other, are independent and really friendly and outgoing – and yet their mother (whom I love dearly) is wringing her hands because they aren’t married! Heck, I’m married and I look at her kids as role models.
The reason she’s not married is that she spends so much time watching reality shows, obviously.
Thank you for introducing me to this wonderful tumblr!
